It felt like the long-awaited MERDEKA celebration for Malaysians.Anwar Ibrahim had won the Permatang Pauh by-election with an earthquake like majority of (15,671 votes) last night.Finally people who came together, irregardless of race and religion,have made a demand for change, for freedom and for justice.This year merdeka celebration could well be a double celebration - 51 Merdeka and Anwar’s victory.
